Joey saw the coming boom for Poipet and got in early. He might have over paid for Star Vegas at the time in 2015. However, double digit properties price rise over the last couple of years shows Joey's forecast for Poipet and Cambodia was correct. If Poipet is not booming, why is there double, triple digit price rise ??

Thailand is unlikely to approve a casino in the near future, and even if they do. The heavy restriction and verification check means dirty money will still flow to Poipet casinos. i can only see Poipet boom more brightly in the near future for the Thai market, also the mass market Chinese, who cannot afford to be high roller in macau will start to flow thru to phnom penh and sihanoukville and some visiting Siem Reap will possibly end up in Poipet, and most likely Star Vegas.

Joey is probably very piss off that he planted the seed and began the journey with Star Vegas. But couldn't continue the journey, at time when everything in Poipet is coming together as forecasted... Joey biggest mistake is in choosing the wrong vendor, or maybe perhaps not dealing with the situations correctly leading to a no win situation for everyone involve. Instead of fighting Somboon, Joey could have find a better solution that satisfy both side..

anyway, Poipet Casino is booming.. which means OCP will get a good reasonable price when they do sell Star Vegas. Which in turn could double or triple current share price.
