With respect, I don't see that; I see the mistake they made to put themselves in that position, and that is what I hold in thought and memory of this company. I want the tech to succeed, and believe it has a great opportunity, I do, but the company hasn't demonstrated itself as something likely to be successful with its slow progress, poor business planning, and no clear pathway forward, just more potential what-ifs.
The company is not trustworthy, they did not deliver on backup 2 and 3 they spoke about. They did not deliver on having the other machines built that were funded for, they do not give a reason, and then they ran out of money with poor backup planning. They are not as wanted as they led investors to believe.
Could this feeling of trust be the same for potential business partners? We will never know, as we are not part of that process, but why not more of the same in other areas?
The machines are not in field making money and gaining builder exposure. Seriously WTF? Now we're talking about other avenues of business, but no questions have been answered about who will be funding the work in those areas. Who do you think it will be? and at what cost?
I think in this example, being polite, and justifying bad decisions is the easy way of forgetting how they got there and removing accountability. Therapy by exposure forgives and accepts a lot, but it shouldn't. Actions are the only way of repair for the many burnt.
But that is just me in thought. I hope they can turn the tables; Mark has a chance, I know he will give it his all, but he doesn't come with CEO experience and will have gained his knowledge in the space by those around him who helped lead this company into its current predicament. It is kind of hard to think based on that we will see a significant change.
Anyway, let's see what happens. I have lost a lot of money on this like others. I should have listened to Bdawg in those last hours, as the market movements are a key sign as he well put. But I didn't due to the possibility of the high-risk high-reward outcome. My loss is my fault. No matter how good the tech, it doesn't run the company and changing that is our only chance to get some money back.
