Really? Do you understand the mineral properties of Spodumene and Lithium Mica ie. Lepidolite? They hold almost identical amounts of Lithium... and Lepidolite also contains a few extra by-products that can be sold as part of the L-Max process.

It would be unwise, to just be so dismissive of things, other than Spod. Here are the ideal mineral models:

    http://webmineral.com/data/Lepidolite.shtml#.WVM46ut96Hs
    3.58 % Li 7.70 % Li2O

    http://webmineral.com/data/Spodumene.shtml#.WVM43-t96Hs
    Lithium 3.73 % Li 8.03 % Li2O

Spod contains about 4.1% more Lithium than Lepidolite, and remember, no-one targets, or wants Lepidolite as they don't have a means to process it yet. So high Lepidolite resources have been overlooked or avoided and can be picked up very cheaply one would think, as opposed to Spodumene.

Now a very efficient spodumene process is of course desirable, and similar acid leaching processes are no doubt in use in Chinese processing plants etc. Lepidico have proved their process in the lab, should expand into the field, and I want to know more about how Sileach performs, from the Spodumene perspective.
