delisting does not mean taking the company private - it just means delisting it from the ASX. All shareholders would remain shareholders in a delisting. Let’s not confuse the 2.
A company can only be taken private if an offer to buy the shares of the company( whether listed or not) is agreed to
by directors /shareholders via a process consistent with what the company’s constitution or SHA says.
