What a mess. I reckon RMS was eyeing out a takeover or merger with WGX. WGX then went and did the deal with Karora. This has made RMS unhappy for a few reasons:
- Seems like they are keen on WGX but do not want Karora because the synergies stated by WGX with the Karora acquisition may be misleading (according to RMS)
- The agreement between WGX and Karora has effectively meant RMS can't make a play for WGX (because the 4% penalty is huge and WGX won't want to pay it)
Not happy about this!
