I got an email with a flyer about the Noosa mining do that is on 17-19 July: 65 mining companies of all sorts and sizes strutting their stuff presumably mostly to all the retired Victorians who have migrated north for the winter. Good to see that the organisers have provided an option of being able to go online and watch the presentations live.

I have little doubt that the feature event during the three days will be this one, to be held at high noon - I kid you not - of the second day, the Thursday.



I reckon the Zep deserves the right to cosplay as the righteous lawman, donning the white hat, while Wayne B can be the hard doing black hatted gambler packing a big iron (hat tip Marty Robbins).



PS of course this is Sunday evening drivel from me, both MDs are respectable professionals (but the high noon timing is amusing).
