The finance deal isn’t 100% complete yet, although it’s quite likely it’ll go through.
I think it’s a mixture of a few things you’ve said. Competing with the big boys will be near impossible, and people are starting to see that there are very slim margins in this business. It’s going to be very difficult for a start up like MNS to compete on price (in fact I doubt they can at all). There are even reports swirling of Panasonic/Tesla scaling back production capacity due to a lack of demand.
Also there are questions about the tech. Cobalt free this and that, but it’s not commercially proven technology (not yet anyway).
I have always maintained that by the time MNS completes its mission, there will be better tech out there. The battery industry is progressing every day and there are some big things happening. Until we know if the MNS product is commercially viable, and equally important, what it costs, this isn’t somewhere I’d put my money for the next 5 years.
