It's great news for TMK.
They now own 100% of the asset, which make capital raising and negotiating deals with Chinese partners farm simpler.
For example, they can now do to a Chinese major and sell/farmdown 50% with far less complications.
Also, no need to worry whether one partner or the other (TPD or TMK) is going to need to raise capital anytime soon, raising questions about the financing of the entire venture.
