Agree with much of your post but it was a bit pessimistic, MHJ is up over 2 & 3 years if that’s any conciliation, also jewellery (maybe LOV?) isn’t that discretionary for the people who’ll bear the brunt of a slow down
Reits generally large discounts might be a good contrarian bet against rates being hiked as much as predicted, I’d be surprised if rates have got much more than another 1% before recession narratives get louder than inflation fears with central banks backpedaling
Granted it’s not a great outcome for most reits but relatively okay
