28,000 was ordered for the entire Xmas and back to school period. How can anyone expect to sell more than that? Moreover it is important to have more than expected sales amount in stock so you don't run out with retailers and it takes a couple of months minimum to get new watches made so you need to have stock available plus when the jb hi fi exclusivity ends, others will stock. Can't just manufacture at the drop of a hat..........over Christmas break.... Of course everyone in any business wants to sell all they can.... Great result in my view in a totally brand new category!!
