Don't go patting yourself on the back too hard for predicting that DW would deliver on exactly what he has been stating he would do, which is to bring in a Strategic Investor.
I can see why you were recently 'hated on' as you say, cause nobody really likes people who think they are better than anyone else and has the need to constantly tell people. I think the label is Narcissist
