On every other forum I am part of the constant rejoinder is the absolute lack of tangible and effective communication. Most people are crying out for more information to be available, for their leaders to be more accessible and for their to be evidence of progress, any progress. I guess its kind of a Stockholm Syndrome, when you are a prisoner of this kind of "treat em like mushrooms" behaviour you start to identify that as how it should be. The fear of authority stops people from getting their questions and concerns addressed. This company is open and clear in setting expectations, outlining achievements and how they are tracking against plan and all staff take responsibility. CEO's are supposed to be accessible to their owners. The fact most are not should not make shareholders demand the same mediocrity this time around.
