It is all very simple really.
If the tendered price submitted by Austal, and later agreed by contract with the Navy (probably three years ago) was too low, then Austal could be supplying ships at a greater cost to them than they are being paid by the Navy. Austal is a relatively small new company and may be in trouble with this contract.
Let's hope not. Monday will be interesting.
