The Philippines have been assured by the G20 if they cut emissions from their Nickel processing plants ...owned by China & Japan then they will receive over 790 ml usd in funding toward more efficient & New Processing Plants.
also the poor government of the Philippines has actually got 85 bl in the bank , more then our so called rich country.
also for political reasons i dont have to go into ...most Nickel Mines in the Philippines will be closed down by November ....as for SMM one of the reasons they badly wanted Isabel and we do not need them as , as you say we are selling DSO until Inco build their new Refinery / processing Plant in the SI.
so it will depend on how much Gunvor if they choose would want to sell any to SMM.
as most of their core market is in Europe.
as for SMM owning the only Nickel ore refinery in south east Asia ...they have 2 and china have 3 . this is why the Philippines have finally woken up ...why should these 2 countries pollute our country under pay our workers then sell the finished product back to us....we can do this our selves......REGINA LOPEZ,S words at her 3 rd interview on making her Country Clean and complying with the G20 ACCORD.
