Interesting theory, altho I would like to think that Trading halts at ASX would have a priority over 4c's....however, speeding tickets seem to be issued at random...so who knows....
However, the blackout period may explain the lack of buyers that are out there for cl8 and cl8o's, ( perhaps the directors had to pull their bids in case they got hit???? just a theory )
All that aside, I will be very interested ( aside from the terms "fundraising" and what it comprises of) if CL8 comes out of the trading halt on time, ie not going into suspension... if they announce on time I can surmise that they were ready to go into a TH and were not using the TH to stop the SP sell off.
Just some thoughts and all IMO and dyor
