Someone said recently that the cobalt price is on the rise!
I say wait a a minute. It's consolidating. The low last year was USD10/lb. It's now 10.70-ish. It was 25 in the halcyon days.
The current price pattern is an up-sloping wedge that threatens a bullish breakout. But it could also break down.
Everyone who follows the rare earth sector knows the current state of play. Prices are very low and the 6 leading chinese RE producers are losing money.
Lesson learnt!
Meantime, everyone's watching. Some are champing at the bit. Carpe Diem business minds at TAS and EDE are seizing the profitable opportunities elsewhere.
Priorities.
I'll bet gold has priority over at the BAR. Not cobalt.
