And now the General appears with all his soldiers in nice clean uniforms
and gatling guns.

This share is losing all its excitement for me now that its on the well-trodden path to predictable glory and riches. I will mourn the passing of the 30s and 40s like old friends as we climb into the limousine headed for Galactic HQ.

Most of all I feel sorry for the down-rampers of the future. They're just going to get fried on our electrified automatic defense systems without us even noticing.
