    I apologize for my lack or research (bit busy today) but if a merger is to happen does the combined company gain entry to the ASX 200/300 etc. if so, certain fund managers are compelled to acquire a percentage of stock. i.e. stock price will rise as a result.
    Will research market caps etc. later as a follow up.
