Chemist Warehouse would be an amazing deal, but the announcement suggests 'acquisition'. This could still mean CWH coming on board.
Perhaps CWH see a loss of market share to MDR enabled pharmacies.
CWH also lost a recent court case where another chain used similar colours and name positioning.

If MDR were to get CWH they would eliminate another competitor, HealthNotes which CWH promote.
A CWH announcement would provide a spectacular re-rate.
Previous announcements haven't warranted a Trading Halt (lifted 31 August) so this 'acquisition' (whatever it is) has the rumblings of something big.
