The fact that there wasn't a run up to 15-16 cents on anticipation of major results due April is surprising but probably more a reflection of the state of mind of biotech investors these days.
5-6 years ago this would be low 20's by now.
People are far less optimistic and less willing to commit pre news. These days even good news needs to be very very good news to get a substantial re rate and the biotech sector very rarely provides really really good news.
You only need to look at our most recent Retts results.
So, after 10-15 years in biotech my optimism has waned. I'd love these results to revitalise biotech optimism.
My waned prediction is that some but not all primary and secondary end points were met.
Enough to warrant further trials.
What I would then like to see is a comprehensive outline of where to from here. Outline a timeline of what's needed from now to commercialisation.
Don't want to be left in the dark, not knowing if this is going to be another 5-10 years before anything of significance can come back to shareholders from it.
