Not sure if this has been corrected yet, it is calculated on a share by share basis.
Purchase of $20,000 in PIO @ $.01 = 2m shares.
Sell 400,000 shares @ $.05 = $20,000.
Therefore profit of ($.05 - $.01)*400,000 = $16,000.
