Yes the end to end may appear to be a different story, what I'm focusing on is the current state of the producers and near producers. Companies like $pls, $ajm etc are currently finalising dfs (having drilled the ground like dart boards) and will need to outlay capex of $150m or there abouts with a 12 month construction and ramp up phase.
Compare this to brine operations with a dfs complete they could be looking at similar capex but a 4 year construction and ramp up phase. Well atleast in $ore case.
In my opinion lithium juniors are in a race to build plants, sign off takes,establish themselves and cash in on this booming market. That's why I see Aussie hard rock operations having the upper hand over the short term.
Nonetheless agree there is plenty of demand for all miners moving forward.
