This what the Trading Halt Request says...
"1. The Trading Halt is requested by Armour Energy pending an announcement in relation to a material acquisition transaction;"
Surely this refers to a proposed acquisition BY Armour, and not some third party wishing to acquire it.
In which case the Westside bid has been dropped to pre-empt whatever the company is about to announce.
The wild ride might be even wilder!
