I imagine Westside would not be the only company watching AJQ closely. The bidders statement (which I'm sure they know has no chance of being successful in its current form) was in the drawer ready to be played when required. Until now they were happy to sit quietly on the sides and watch JP Morgan and Och Ziff sell down, and see how the LKO imbroglio plays out. (This is all pure supposition by me - DYOR as they say)
