India is also in BRICKS. However they are also in a QUAD alliance that is primarily set up to stop China in the Indo Pacific if need be along side Australia Japan and America. World geopolitics is in a very messy state. Just because BRICKS countrys are trying to move away from the petro dollar does not mean they are politically/strategically in bed.
Brazil is by far and away a better country to be minning in than DRC, no where near the same levels of corruption. Brazil is much better placed in the world geopolitically and would not want to destroy that. Where as the DRC give no shites about anything other than Chinese Bribes and money.
