They hadn't moved to the U.S. yet and probably hadn't anticipated the costs.
At that price dilution would have been lower, however all the buyers would have been burnt badly and the stock plunge could have been faster. They need to maintain good relations with shareholders for further cap raisings.
I think JP knew they were overvalued at that price anywho and probably saw the pump and dump.
The news is being taken well however. 2 million is a small anount.
