There are many direct and indirect talks of late of how SYR share price is being manipulated. But is it really being manipulated or has the market just being doing what the market always does. If it was being manipulated, then it would have been quite difficult to figure out the next move all along. Surely no one would have been able to make any call....right? But has the market spoken all along and given hints all along? Let us find out with a trip down memory lane –
1/ Gross overvaluation at all time high - June 2016https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-trading-halt-syr-ax.2791786/page-51?post_id=18063509SYR IMO was priced for perfection at all time high.It was also the time of Brexit 2016. Diluted Market cap was some 1.75 billion for a company not yet in production. I was ridiculed for pointing out that very simple fact then. The best returns were already made and SYR was again coming out with a mega capital raise.
Could it be that it was the last possible time for the professionals to get out. Well, get out they did. In fact, SYR only had 1 positive day after my June 2016 warning at 6.4
2/ Shorters starting to take noticeOnce the fall started, shorters slowly but steadily started to pile in. From what I remember, the shorting level was not really all that high in June 2016 but started to increase as the SYR bubble was more and more noticeable

Above are just some major examples of inflection points but there have been tons more. Read my comments which are more or less in just this 1 thread where at every stage, the market has given warnings - literally warned of what could possibly come next.
Key levels - Around 1.4, Around 1.6, 2; 2.24; 2.39/2.44/2.5; 2.64; around 2.8; 3; 3.2 (3.15 and 3.25); 3.45 to 3.53; 3.65; 4; 4.5; 4.72Above are also key levels which I’ve highlighted all along, and they have mostly played along.
Might I very respectfully suggest that perhaps the market has just done what the market always does – for most stocks.....and that SYR might not really be a "special manipulation case" as some believeSYR today had an intra day low of less than a dollar - 98.5 cents. This is a massively far cry from the $6.4 price where I came with original warnings and was mocked and surprisingly have continued to be mocked many more times ever since.
Hopefully long term SYR investors who have been here on these threads all these years can reflect on my old posts and see what I was talking about all along. Apologies if any part of above sounds like "I told you so" and it is not my intention. Good luck
