My guess is that TTS is looking at selling off the TAB division to TAH. Hope TTS can get a good premium for this. Subject to ACCC and ASIC approval, TTS can focus on the lotteries operations. Merger of equals would be difficult to achieve considering the buinsess models of each company and the potential implied valuations to be applied for lotteries division. Just my thoughts, we don't have to wait long to see what's on the table.
