There are valid reasons why the ann could be taking longer than anticipated. For example, if a contract was signed, the company must announce [something] if it is material. However, (and I have seen this happen recently) if the other party can't agree on the wording of the ann then it takes more time.
It will be announced when it is ready. The materiality of the event - and that is all people here are really interested in - is the same if it comes today or next week.
Unless your time horizon is ultra-short term that is.
