Takeout: ignore those who seek to manipulate others to achieve their short term goals, particularly when the fundamentals are in tact because it's just not worth tempting fate in the short term in my opinion.

If and when the big one (Intel) is announced there'll most likely be one mother of a breakaway gap that will defy all gravity. It may literally take your breath away. Those who have sold because they were feeling jaded about recent company (and share price) developments will be chewing their nails off and possibly kicking themselves stupid come Wednesday.
