Oil Search is seeking the trading halt pending the making of an announcement to the market today in relation to:

The termination of the proposed sale of an effective interest in PDL2, including a ~3.5% interest in the PNG LNG Project, to International Petroleum Investment Corporation (“IPIC”); and

A share placement to institutional investors;
