I think you have hit the nail on the head regarding the out of court settlement.
With the amount of cash they currently have they should not be doing a cap-raising at the moment even given the problems of late. The only reason I can see for the cap-raising is because they have been given an acceptable offer to clear the Lehmans hedge and are raising funds to do so.
Anybody think of any other reason for raising cash at the moment?
Won't have long to find out anyway.........
