After a pleasant evening away from HC it is good to come back this morning and find that many of you have come around to my original suggestion from 1pm yesterday afternoon, that this is all about raising funds to cover for BG leaving the JV.

While many of the other suggested reasons are possible, in the main they don't make much sense based on our understanding of CTP's cash position and forward commitments. The money is just not needed so urgently that you would raise it at such a discount.

BG leaving on the other hand is going to have a negative impact on the share price anyway (even if we all probably agree that it is a good thing in the long run - the market will react negatively) and the 7.5c RI is at about the right level.

Going to be an interesting couple of days.
