By telling Sellier on Fri night re the sale and HK CST website / Google / SMH etc also telling the market before CFE's release of the result a Trading Halt was definitely needed. Plain and simple. Gives them time to do it right by us and ASX who I suspect are over CFE too.
I think TS's efforts of press coverage pre this finalised deal re Tax issue need to be recognised. Most of the Labour heads were mentioning CFE.....This result is setting the SP up nicely. You have to recognise it as an effort in gaining a lot of pretty cheap exposure. I think it was May West who said any press (even bad like this may have been perceived to be by potential new holders) is good press. Don't be surprised to see a stampede to get that cold hard cash when the markets continue to fall. I highly recommend Redback's analysis on this. Not wanting to scare, only inform as usual the below is pretty ominous:
Buckle up guys; this is going to be fun. I think some serious gains are on the way in the near future. I am sure to have some thumbs down on this but all time highs could be possible and should not be ruled out. Ambitious I know. This 2nd come through by TS is going to wake man up. 1 time possibly considered luck, 2 is no fluke especially the hard yakka put in for this 3rd attempt.
On the takeover front don't forget this is pretty tightly held. Top 20 hold approx 70% (happy to be corrected on this or anything else) so unless there are like a couple of $ per share I think a buyout is out of the question. I don't think these holders are short term players.
TS mentioned he was looking for sponsorship of the Glory. Hell, I think if we do as expected out of this we could probably chip a bit in it as payback! Ha (Ok, lets not get too carried away I hear).
