    Isoft Group (ISF) 'Forced Into Trading Halt' - Mar 24, 2011

    Following on from my post on the insider buying in Isoft Group (ISF) yesterday the stock has just gone into a trading halt this morning'.

    My prediction of imminent news was correct. Now we have to wait and see if it is a positive development, which I am expecting to be the case.

    Isoft Group (ISF) 'Insider Buying Mar 23, 2011

    Something that caught my attention early this morning was the pre-market bidding on Isoft Group (ISF). The bidding looked a little over anxious, and this was happening at a time when the rest of the market was very reluctant to chase anything. It stood out like a sore thumb and before the market opened, I suggested to the forum that insiders were at work here.

    The chart shows a nice reversal pattern forming. ISF shares opened at 4c and closed 19% higher today at 4.3c after hitting highs of 4.5c.
    This stock is a former market darling but cut backs in public health spending, delays in developing and commercialising their software products, and a heavy debt load has seen the stock get well and truly punished. Recently, new lows of 3.2c were made, so the sudden interest in the stock could just be that people are beginning to see value.

    I still think some positive news is afoot so we'll have to wait and see.

    Here is something interesting; why CSC New York is a predator in T/O ISF. They would be able to sell ISF products in USA. But what price do they want to pay?

    'Not ready for United States Healthcare'

    Pros
    iSOFT wanted to make a splash in the US in healthcare in 2010, and tried to go at it aggressively. In the beginning we felt like we had a chance to sell and grow and the directors of the US worked very hard to try to make it a success. The US director is very competent and a wonderful person to work with. The technology that was being sold was solid, and the development team was nimble.

    Cons
    iSOFT fell apart in 2010. They can't get out of their own way, and there is too much red tape in the way make the appropriate changes to sell in the US. It's the typical outsider mentality, that if it works for the rest of the world it will work for the US. Well in Healthcare that is a big fail. Agfa suffered from this mentality and so did iSOFT. I have no idea what it's like in the other countries with iSOFT, but if you're considering working for the US branch (if it still exists) seriously do your homework.
    Advice to Senior Management
    Fully commit or get out of the US.
