In the back of my mind for some time has been how long it's been taking to upgrade the plant to 6.5 Mt from 4 Mt despite the modest $15m price tag. Their audio presentations from months ago said the upgrade was basically done but their official announcements consistently claim they're in the process of doing it. My guess is there have been ongoing problems with the SAG mill leading to this failure. It's by no means catastrophic but does tarnish management's reputation. Interesting to see how TSX reacts tonight.. there's only so long you can skirt about the main ore body processing the soft stuff.
