this is the news we have been talking about for the past 6 months as this process has dragged on. Interesting that GNS is calling a trading halt for this as they are expecting some news. Sounds a little odd but I suspect any news of progress is actually good news for GNS, even if they end up only getting much less than they are asking for.......the agreement only works with Gunns approval so it seems only fair they get some compensation for the assets they are giving up in the deal ($200m in book value I believe)....lets see
