being a novice, I have no idea what a 'material transaction' means. So I googled it and find, the first few times it appears in google re an asx halted share, that share 'acquired' some asset. Like mines or tennaments or the like.

So, to my mind, this will be a 'good' annoucement... some asset has been aquired.

But just a guess based on a whopping three reads of other asx miners doing a 'material transaction'.
