dd - I wouldn't think there is any reason for the selling other than the placement itself. In addition - the extra cash actually makes MLM stronger than before the placement as the numbers now add up.
Somebody picked up some at 22c. That was about 4c for the projects, and the rest (about 18c) is held in cash and listed investments. No wonder they didn't get many.
