Scandium Nickel and Cobalt are very similar in atomic mass. I believe they are relatively easy to extract with a very similar process.

Re PGM Platinum is about 3 or 4 times the atomic mass of Sc and so each will need a very different separation technique most likely in the first stage of processing after crushing - possibly some extra work/expense for the Scandium. Not saying it isn't a goer however.

Re JRV - Bloom offered to buy their Sc project for $4m and was rejected. So I assume this one has promise.
