Drove through the Airport Link tunnel at 5:10pm last Friday. Not EXACTLY deserted, as in we could see other cars in the distance .... without binoculars, because they had their lights on.

Normally I'd take the longer route, but figured at peak hour the tunnel would be worth $2.50. I think I was right!

Gotta love the adverts for the Legacy tunnel. "Bowen Hills will only take 4 minutes!!". Well, if it's not peak hour, it only takes five and a half minutes now .......
