    Assuming its all about Tanzania
Overview from Jacka Resources 6th June 2013

"The Ruhuhu Block is located in south western Tanzania, adjacent to Lake Nyasa. Tanzania has
recently become one of the world’s international oil and gas exploration hot spots. The country
grabbed petroleum industry headlines over the past two years with industry leaders such as Petrobras, Shell, Statoil, ExxonMobil and BG entering the country to explore offshore and Independents such as Beach Energy, Heritage and Maurel et Prom onshore. Between 2010 and
March 2013, an estimated 33.7 Tcf in recoverable gas resources have been discovered offshore and 8 Tcf onshore, with further drilling continuing through 2013 and 2014 and plans underway for LNG exports (Statoil/Exxon/BG/TPDC).

(LOTS of the Big companies appears to be scoring big in the Eastern parts of Tanzania, the Western region are only just starting to come on notice - very early days).

Tanzania is still considered to be under-explored, particularly onshore and has further significant
exploration potential within both the offshore deep water blocks and the numerous onshore basins,
such as the Ruhuhu Basin, located in the central and western parts of the country.

The Ruhuhu delta, in the west of the block, is the initial focus of conventional prospectivity because
of some key geological similarities with the Kaiso-Tonya area of Lake Albert, Uganda where the first
East African Rift oil discoveries were made in 2006
The Ruhuhu delta, like the Kaiso-Tonya area, has a large sediment input (providing both potential
reservoir and seal rocks) and is located updip and close to a potentially mature source kitchen.
Volatile hydrocarbons in sediment samples taken from the floor of Lake Nyasa, coincidentally
located above a gravity low, indicate the potential for a thick sediment pile and a mature source area
which could expel hydrocarbons into adjacent reservoirs within the Tertiary delta or the older
    Ruhuhu Basin section.

While the Ruhuhu delta in the west is an initial focus for a conventional exploration program, the potential for conventional hydrocarbon prospectivity will also be investigated in the central and eastern Ruhuhu. The Permian analogues indicate potential for both conventional and
unconventional hydrocarbons in the equivalent section of the Ruhuhu Basin."

AND when Jacka was in in 2011 organizing the deal they said...
"HOUSTON, 7th January 2011 – Jacka Resources Ltd., Perth, said it’s in exclusive negotiations with the Tanzanian government for exploration rights to 8,400 sq km (now 10.343 sq km)comprising the entire Ruhuhu basin in southern Tanzania.

Jacka said the acreage, across Lake Nyasa from Malawi, holds multiple conventional and unconventional play types. Jacka would be operator with 100% interest in the block.

The block offer came after several months of talks with Tanzania Petroleum Development Corp. regarding oil and gas exploration for this and other blocks in the country, Jacka said.

The northeast-southwest trending Ruhuhu basin, entirely onshore, is among a chain of Karoo basins across southern Africa formed during the break up of Pangea in the late Carboniferous-early Permian.

Conventional and unconventional exploration plays exist, with potential for multiple charge systems being a significant de-risking feature:

    • The basal Ruhuhu section contains postglacial, early Permian lacustrine shales, rich in total organic carbon, and modeled to have reached oil mid-maturity in the basin. These lacustrine shales are genetically related to those that have sourced the heavy oil in the Bemolanga tar sands of Madagascar with a reported resource of 22 billion bbl, Jacka said. (Yes 22 BILLION BBL)

    • The Ruhuhu basin is truncated to the west by the Lake Malawi (Nyasa) basin of the modern East African rift. The Nyasa basin contains TOC rich sediments similar to those of the genetically related Albert graben in western Uganda, where 1 billion bbl of oil reserves have been proved since 2006. (YES 1 billion).
