Paoloh - You haven't the faintest idea what is going to happen nor has anyone else outside the management team. It is a complex exercise rolling two companies together and will take time to see what the outcome will be, it is very early days. Three of the leading online retailing companies , 'OO', 'Deal Direct' and 'Topbuy' are now part of this growing entity and Oz is way behind many of the major western countries in the relative penetration of online retailing into the retailing market, so the opportunity is there.
Like the communications market in the last few years we are now seeing the early stages of the rationalisation of the online retailing market here as well. Maybe you might start thinking strategically instead of talking down a company which has grown from a bunch of small enterprising startups over the last few years. There should be more of this type of enterprise, it is what the country needs to generate employment and opportunity.
