I wish I shared your positive outlook Mulga Mick .... however I do not think a writeback/reduction in the remediation provision of $142m is likely. The last time they increased this provision, it was by $20m, and no trading halt was required then. They are also scheduled to release their FY14 result next friday ... why not wait? Must be material in nature.

I have no idea how much they will increase it this time, but I am expecting at least a triple digit increase.
