A book build is where institutional investors bid for the shares if enough people bid for enough shares at .50 cents then that is what they will receive. Obviously if the hedge funds etc think it is going to come out at the theoretical ex rights price (56.5c) they could bid up around 52c which still gives them a few cents profit if they cash out straight away.
