I did find that part of the announcement amusing, and commented at the time. They expect to release an announcement within 48 hours of 9.00am on a FRIDAY morning.

The ASX though, knowing how confused CDU are with announcements have given them until Tuesday morning.

The real question is why did it require a trading halt? They either have an ore off-take agreement for the DSO or they don't. They could have released the details on Friday instead of going for the TH. The market certainly wasn't reacting like there was 'escaped' good news. In fact the market action of CDU on Thursday was the opposite, like bad news dead ahead.
