    As long as they are asking you for the money at a price that is sufficiently far enough below they weighted average price as a result of the additional stock that gets issued, then no, its not terrible at all.

    As long as you get your new stock at a price level that is below TERP, you win.

    It's a matter of simple arithmetic.
