Think your calculations might be slighlty awry due to timing around the issue of shares Scorchin, i think you have to go back and calculate it on total dividend amount paid as opposed to a per share basis at the end of the year.
IE earnings for the full year a diluted by recent share issues and u calculated that the dividend was paid on DPS basis for the entire year.
I went back and calculated very roughly the following amount of dividends paid
First Quarter divi = $11m
Second Quarter = $14m
Third Quarter = $15m
Current divi = $21m
Total divis paid = $61m
Assuming EBIT of $105m
Less interest lets say 15m
NPBT = $90m
NPAT = 63m
Extremely rough calculations i tried to be agressive (not conservative) with my assumptions by using shares outstanding at HY for both the first and second dividend despite their being that massive capital raising and acquisition i believe after the first dividend was paid.
I've got a lot of study to do so i dont have time to go back over this now but i will hopefully get a chance after my exams.
