Sometimes, you got to go for it - provided you know what you are doing and you know what you got is a winner.

Lets look at the surrounding basins near Phoenix South; to the North - Browse Basin, there is gas; to the South - Carnarvon basin, there is oil.

And for years, geologists suggested there was either gas or oil in the Canning basin offshore - as they were part of the same geological structure.

Added to that, 20 years ago, BP staff (due to lack of technology) made a mistake by not probably checking the drill results.

Their mistake has been our fortune.

APA upon this discovery (even before the analytical result has been announced), immediately took up the option on surrounding leases.

CVN on learning this has embarked on selling assets to raise enough cash for this.

This is a make or break event.

For me, there is enough circumstantial evidence to suggest this is a company making event.
