Good fortune to Oceanwide. I do not begrudge them one bit. They have been supportive of CuDeco and without them and backing from the other large Chinese companies CuDeco would not be where it is now . The establishment of the much maligned office in China has paid off handsomely for CuDeco in raising capital and now a Main Board listing on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Wayne's long term strategy has reaped its rewards. I prefer Oceanwide to have got the shares than some hedge fund or the lender/s to the shorters.
As for why New Apex Asia sold down part of their holding, you would need to know their reasoning . It could be they sold to other Chinese investors. According to the last Annual Report ,they still had a holding of 23,087,206 shares or 9.81 % of the company.
